The Mayor Unveils the Oxfordshire Way Marker

On Monday 13th September 2021, the Mayor of Henley, Cllr Sarah Miller, unveiled a marker to show one end of the Oxfordshire Way.

The plan to design and install markers at each end of the Oxfordshire Way was formed after Kevin Rodd completed the walk three years ago and was disappointed to find no marker acknowledging the end of the route for a well-earned selfie.

Support for the markers came from Henley Town Council, Bourton-on-the-Water Parish Council, SODC, and Oxfordshire Ramblers.

Cllr Glen Lambert (HRG) actively steered the project through the Henley Town Council.

Proud moment as many of those involved in the project see the marker for the first time
