The playground is open again!
We are pleased to announce that the Freeman’s Meadow playground upgrade has now been completed!
There will be an official opening in the not too distant future but it is now open to the public including the newly installed goalposts for 5 aside football.
Recently Friends’s of Freemans Meadow applied to Henley Town Council for Village/Town green status for the park so that it can be protected from being built on, which is fantastic news. It is a lovely peaceful park just off the Fairmile, and just a short walk from the town.
We also have Parakeets resident that fly overhead and sit in neighbouring trees along with Red Kites.
